Maribel Suarez is a recurring character in seasons one and two of The L Word: Generation Q. She is portrayed by Jillian Mercado and debuts in "Less Is More".

Background[]

Maribel is the daughter of Virginia Suarez and the younger sister of Sophie Suarez. She is of African and Latin-American ancestry, and is fluent in Spanish. Her father walked out on their family on the day that she was born.[1]
